At the very end of the rest of our lives, maybe we can realize how painful, yet beautiful of this life is… People come and go, and the show keeps going with its flow.
I don’t know why I have to write in English this time, despite potential grammar errors, as I have no habit of expressing my thoughts in foreign languages.
No, I have no intention of practising English via writing.
I deliberately write these lines in English, cuz it makes me to pause. I cannot keep on writing on and on if I have to write something not in Vietnamese.
I have to hold on for one minute.
Hold on for two minutes.
Hold on for three minutes.
And pause.
Pause for thought.
Pause for effect.
Pause for stillness.
I pause. I shift my way of thinking in mother language to other languages.
And then, I realize, somehow, hard to describe in words, that’s … wow… What a miracle when two strangers can find each other and say “hi” in this life.
Why you and me, but not another?
Why her and me, but not another?
Why him and me, but not another?
So painful when we have to say “bye” in silence. So sad that we become strangers again.
But, can’t deny the fact that we have once said “hi” before that “bye”.
“Hi” and “Bye”, altogether they create the beauty of life.
